Wedding Photography

TRUST US TO CAPTURE THE FUN AND ROMANCE OF YOUR DAY

Congratulations on your engagement and forthcoming wedding. We are delighted that you are considering entrusting Rapture Photography with your precious memories.

We look forward to meeting you to discuss your requirements in more detail and show you our quality range of albums, photographs and other products in person. If you live some distance from us and/or are unable to visit in person for any reason, don’t worry, we can do everything by e-mail and phone.

GENERAL INFORMATION
· When you book Rapture Photography, you hire Steve to take your photographs
and Alison to do the creative finishing and album design. You don’t have to
worry about a stranger or junior staff photographer taking the photographs
or completing your album.
· We generally take a mixture of formal, informal, romantic, and contemporary
photographs to get the full story of your day, but will be guided by you in
the first instance. Prior to the wedding, we spend a lot of time discussing
your preferences and any special requests, and never do anything you don’t
want.
· We only book one wedding per day to give you the full attention and courtesy
you deserve, and there is no limit to the time we can spend at your wedding,
the number of locations that we can visit, or the number of photographs that
we can take.
· We offer couples a free portrait session, either before the wedding to get
better acquainted, or after the wedding if preferred.
· A non-refundable Booking Fee of £150 is required to secure your date. The
outstanding balance (with booking fee deducted) is due 14 days prior to the
wedding date.
· Albums not collected in person can be posted in the UK using Royal Mail’s next
day Special Delivery service at a cost of £25. This service has sufficient
insurance to cover the value of the completed Album. For postage outside the
UK, please ask for details.
· Additional coverage (i.e. not included in the Package you choose) is charged
at £45 per hour - which includes travel mileage.

PACKAGE OPTIONS
We offer a number of Package options to suit a variety of presentation styles and budgets - although please don’t feel that they impose any limits on you. We are genuinely interested in helping you get the most out of your special day, so please ask if there is something extra or different that you want. For example, you are free to opt to have a combination of Digital Images and an Album if you want – please just ask for details.

BESPOKE PRICING / SMALLER WEDDINGS
We understand that weddings come in all shapes and sizes – and often the type of coverage detailed in the Packages below is not suitable – for example, when only the Bride and Groom are going to attend the wedding. If you feel that you are looking for something smaller or different, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

ALL PACKAGE OPTIONS INCLUDE:
· All proof images on a DVD slide-show set to music which YOU CAN KEEP
· Travel up to 100 miles (i.e. from, and returning to our Studio)
· Thumbnail reference sheets on A4 paper to aid print/image selection
· A selection of 100-150 images hosted on our website for viewing or purchase
by family & friends (password protected)
· Your choice of prints/images produced in B&W or Sepia at no extra cost.
· One image from the wedding and details e-mailed to your local newspaper(s).

Two types of coverage are inclusive in the different Package options (Standard and Extended – see definition below) – though you are free to add to this if required.

· Standard Coverage = Photography begins at Ceremony venue around 45 mins before
start of Ceremony, and includes coverage wherever required until start of meal
at Reception venue – Maximum of 4 hours coverage and to include a minimum of
150 images.
· Extended Coverage = Photography begins with Bride (and/or Groom) getting
ready and includes coverage wherever required until after first dance –
Maximum of 9 hours coverage and to include a minimum of 250 images
(Note: Includes at least 1 hour while guests are eating main meal where
there is no coverage).
Note: Only one photographer, so can’t be in the same place at the same time.

DIGITAL ONLY - £795
- Includes Standard Coverage
- Your choice of up to 75 high resolution print ready digital files from the day
on CD for your personal use (i.e. print / e-mail etc. for family & friends as
you wish).
- CD presented in a stylish flip CD-Folio with 5x5 photo and rigid black box.

DIGITAL ONLY PLUS - £995
- Includes Extended Coverage
- Your choice of up to 150 high resolution print ready digital files from the
day on CD for your personal use (i.e. print / e-mail etc. for family & friends
as you wish).
- CD presented in a stylish flip CD-Folio with 5x5 photo and rigid black box.

FAIRYTALE - £795
- Includes Standard Coverage
- 12 page (24 side) album (10x11 inches approx.) of your choice from our range
(9 album styles are inclusive, with a further 10 styles available from between
£25 and £65 extra).
- You choose up to 40 prints for your Album (mix of 8x6’s, 5x4’s, and 3½x2½ ‘s).

FAIRYTALE - Additional Album Pages (i.e. 2 sides with max of 4 prints) = £25 each

LEGEND - £945
- Includes Standard Coverage
- 15 page (30 side) album (13 x11 inches approx.) of your choice from our range
which are all book-bound, and with the exception of one, in leather (5 album
styles are inclusive, with a further 6 styles available from between £15 and
£30 extra).
- You choose up to 55 prints for your Album (mix of 11x11’s, 10x8’s, 8x6’s,
7x5’s, 5x4’s and 4x3’s).

LEGEND PLUS- £1245
- Includes Extended Coverage
- 20 page (40 side) album (13 x11 inches approx.) of your choice from our range
which are all book-bound, and with the exception of one, in leather (5 album
styles are inclusive, with a further 6 styles available from between £15 and
£30 extra).
- You choose up to 75 prints for your Album (mix of 11x11’s, 10x8’s, 8x6’s,
7x5’s, 5x4’s and 4x3’s).

REPORTAGE - £945
- Includes Standard Coverage
- 20 page (20 side) ‘reportage luxury’ Album (14x12 inches approx.)
- You choose up to 45 prints for your Album (contemporary overlays offer a mix
of 10x12, 10x10, 10x8, 10x7, 10x5, 8x6, 8x8, 7x5, 6x4, 5x4, and 3x4's)

REPORTAGE PLUS- £1245
- Includes Extended Coverage
- 20 page (40 side) ‘reportage exclusive’ Album (14x12 inches approx.)
- You choose up to 75 prints for your Album (contemporary overlays offer a mix
of 10x12, 10x10, 10x8, 10x7, 10x5, 8x6, 8x8, 7x5, 6x4, 5x4, and 3x4's)

UNIQUE DESIGNER ALBUMS
Completely bespoke, stylish, Book-bound albums that can be as unique as the wedding couple. The Studio creates an Album Design based on your unique images that we feel you will love, though each component of the album can then be altered and enhanced by yourself, by mixing and matching from a stunning array of design options. There is flexibility, for example, in the cover/spine materials and colour, embossing font and location, page numbers, style of mats and apertures, keyhole panels and cameo’s, print sizes and positioning on each page etc. etc.

Two size Options Available: 10x11 = £1195 OR 13x13 = £1350

The Package for both size options includes:
- Extended Coverage
- Album containing 12 pages (24 sides) and up to 65 prints
- Choice of Leather, Supersuade, Leather-like, and Shimmer covers
- Embossing of first names and date (if wanted)
- Choice of duplex apertures with either white or black pages
- Single Panorama page (if wanted)
- 1½ hour consultation session to alter the draft studio-designed album and to
incorporate any personal preferences and ideas

All changes, and extras (e.g. alternative cover materials, extra pages, specialist pages etc.) are priced separately, with NO obligation to make any additional purchase.

OTHER SERVICES
- DVD-Show £145: A stunning DVD presentation with your choice of 80 wedding
images with titling, a wide selection of transition effects, and music. You
are free to make copies of the DVD to give to family/friends, or we can supply
copies for a nominal charge. Content can include your choice of music,
additional images from the wedding, or even other images you have e.g. of
Bride and Groom as kids. Comes in a stylish presentation folder with 5x5 photo
and rigid box.
- Parents Album’s: Various Album options are available starting at £150 that
include your choice of 20 (5x4) prints.
- Miscellaneous: Many other display options are also available e.g. photo ‘Thank
You’ cards, pocket books, coffee-table books, concertina mounts, canvas
frames, traditional photo frames etc.

STANDARD ADDITIONAL PRINT PRICES:
5x4 = £6; 8x6 = £8; 10x8 = £12
Orders of £125 or more will be discounted.
All prints come in quality presentation mounts.

CANVAS FRAME PRICES:
16x12= £85; 20x16= £110

Portrait Photography (Studio & Location)

Whether you are a veteran 'poser', or have never had your photograph taken by a professional, Stephen will make the experience as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Remember that any photographs that you are not completely satisfied with, need never be printed or seen by anyone else!

Stephen Wilson (the photographer) has been police checked and holds the appropriate 'Disclosure' certificate. You are welcome to have anyone present at the shoot, even if they are not going to be photographed. Anyone under 17 years of age, must be accompanied by an adult whether in the studio or on location.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Session Location:
Portraiture sessions are available by appointment either in our Studio, or other indoor or outdoor location of your choice. All outdoor photography is weather permitting.
The home service is available for anyone and is designed to make your life easier so that you don't have to leave home at all. It can be especially appealing for children and senior citizens who will feel more comfortable in familiar surroundings and who would appreciate not having the hassle of travelling.
The outdoor location service is ideal to portray 'lifestyle' images in a more natural environment, whether it is of you/family/friends just walking on the beach, in the woods, taking part in a sport or activity, or with a treasured possession such as a car, horse, boat etc. Or what about photographs of you doing your favourite hobby?

Don't hesitate to discuss ANY of your ideas with us.

Scheduling:
All photography sessions are by appointment only. We schedule no more than two sessions per day, which allows us to give you the full attention and courtesy you deserve. We are not in the business of speedy 'production-line studio portraits', and can book appointments for ANY time (day/evening/weekend) that suits you. Remember if you are making an appointment for a baby/child, ensure that it coincides with their best time of day.
All non-Studio appointments need to be secured by payment of a £45 booking fee (which counts towards your final order). Our cancellation policy is fair but firm. With more than 24 hours notice, we will be happy to re-schedule your appointment only. With less than 24 hours notice you forfeit your booking fee. If an outdoor session is booked and the weather makes it impossible to do the shoot, you will be able to re-schedule at no additional cost.

Before the Session:
Clients are welcome to discuss the type of portrait(s) that they desire prior to the sitting. Also consider where the portraits will be displayed and to whom you may wish to give them as a gift and in what form e.g. framed, mounted, on a greeting card etc.

What to Expect during the Session:
It is important that the session is not rushed as the best results are obtained from a relaxed atmosphere. The sittings usually last 30-60 mins, though can be longer depending on your needs and the numbers to be photographed. You will have time to make small changes in clothing, props etc.

What Happens After the Session:
Within 3 days of the session, the preview photographs will be ready (thumbnail images). These can be collected, posted to you, or e-mailed. When we receive your completed selection(s) for prints, it usually takes a week to complete the order which can be collected or posted.

Urgent Pictures: If you require your pictures in a hurry (i.e. a matter of a day or two), this can usually be arranged at a nominal charge. This can include viewing the images within two hours of the sitting.

Clothing and Prop Suggestions:
Clothing General: Plain and simple is best. Try to avoid bold or busy patterns and bright colours. It is generally a good idea to bring/have available a selection of clothing. Also consider sports clothing, football tops, national dress, uniforms etc.
Groups: Try and have everyone in a similar style of clothing (e.g. casual or formal), and aim for a similar tonal range (i.e. light or dark clothing). Ladies: Jewellery is best kept to a bare minimum. Make-up should be covered by a fine dusting powder to take away the shine.
Children: Try to avoid large motifs, brand names etc. that detract from your child's face. Feel free to bring/have available any toys, dress-up clothes, or items of interest. Of course we have a selection of toys if desired.
Babies: Terries nappies and baby-grows are best. Also, bring/have available a favourite blanket, soft toy etc.
Props: Don't be afraid to bring/have available any interesting clothing accessories e.g. a hat, Stetson, feather boa, sunglasses etc. Or a prop that reflects your lifestyle and adds to your character e.g. a favourite book, a musical instrument, hobby item etc.
Music: It is usually a good idea to bring/have available a selection of your favourite music (on cassette or CD) to help you relax or 'get in the mood'.

On Location - £45 (All mileage charged at £0.40 per mile, with tolls etc. at cost.)
NB!! When your order value reaches £45, £30 is refunded in the form of extra prints or products of choice.

1st Print=As priced; Each additional print of same image=Less 25%

Prints up to 10x8 provided in gold-blocked presentation mounts; 16x12 prints provided in 2-inch bevelled and backed frame mounts.
All prints can be converted to B&W, or Sepia at no extra cost.

16x12= £80; 18x12= £90; 20x16= £100

NB!! If the total portrait order (EXCL. Canvas options) is over £100=free concertina mount including 6 images of your choice; Over £200=free pocket book including 10 images of your choice.

Party and Event Photography

Rapture Photography has the expertise and personal service to capture the best from your occasion. Whether it is a small private family gathering or a large event, we are happy to tailor our services to meet your specific needs or allow us to make some suggestions with the minimum of input required on your behalf.

Often there is little or no cost for us to cover an event for you.

Pictures are available, in printed or electronic form, with exciting display options such as virtual slide shows on DVD or CD-ROM, creative albums, traditional print albums, prints supplied in display mounts or framed.

Images can also be made available online (for viewing or to order) after the event with optional password protection. We also offer many creative digital imaging techniques to enhance or alter images.

Commercial & P.R.

Quality photography for websites, company brochures, newsletters, advertisements, presentations, slide shows, company Christmas cards, customised cards for other faiths, or festivals. Management and/or staff Portraits. Also coverage of business conventions, seminars, trade shows, fundraisers, or team building events, or more social occasions such as company banquets or golf tournaments etc.

For all these services and more, Rapture Photography is here to help. We are fully portable with studio lighting, so can visit your offices/site or event location. We use state-of-the-art digital photographic equipment for rapid turnaround. Photographs can be e-mailed around the world or saved onto CD in minutes. Images can be provided in digital or printed format. Images can be retouched and enhanced, or have creative digital effects added (for example, an irritating telephone pole or sign blocking a perfectly good view of the office building could be removed).

We offer competitive prices compared to many city-based photographers as we are rurally based. We have Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance cover.
